There are pros and cons to each: a laptop is very handy as it is small, lightweight and can store lots of data. You can also connect to the internet in many places now with wifi networks becoming more popular so it’s handy if you’re working away from the office or on a train! However – a laptop has limits for its memory and speed which means working on multiple things at a time or loading many programmes on it can make it slow.

A PC is good as you can often get ones with large amounts of memory space and with good processors meaning you can load lots of software on it and run multiple programmes without much effort. However they are bulky and not mobile to allow you to work away from its main location.

So - depending on your requirements you choose although some people have both!!
